If a crayon was broken, is it not a crayon anymore? Does it lose its capacity to create colors? Being broken will not eradicate the beauty inside you. Existence of wounds is an opportunity for the light to enter you. Being broken doesn’t mean that you are rubbish. You can break a crayon and see it’s the perfect time for you to share it. Being shattered doesn’t mean that we should be thrown out. We must not see ourselves meaningless and worthless when we’re broken. Being brave, strong and broken all at once is great evidence how powerful we are. The journey of reinvention is never easy but it will come to pass whether we’re ready or not. Maturity has a price and we need to pay for it. It comes when we understand the difference between being weak and strong versus being weak and hopeless. Everyone will come to a point wherein they will feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable, fearful, alone, damaged and broken. After that, just like a butterfly, you will come to that time where you can finally spread your wings and show your beauty to the world. You will find yourself, slowly being different than before. You will find healing and humbleness then it will become your present. You will long for it and you will continue to learn and be free.
You’re existence was never a mistake. You are here because you’re about to color the world. You can freely color the world and ready to inspire everyone. The color that you will create will linger to whoever finds it hard to win the battle they are fighting. You might become broken but be sure to rise and shine again. A broken color still colors. ― Mary Ann Royeca
